Addiction in the GLBT community will drop by 10% ?

Popular Irish group Boyzone, bravely leads the way by featuring one of their own singers, (who is actually gay), with a gay love interest in their latest video..."Better".......it sure is!!!

It's estimated that 20% of the GLBT community have problems with alcohol, with some research showing it to be much higher. It's only since 2000 that I've seen attitudes shift more positively with the general population towards gays. I can now only presume that with gay people now being more accepted, the rates of alcoholism in the gay community will slowly come down and one day be on par with the general population's rate of addiction at the much lower (4- 10%).

Alcoholism in the gay community will drop by at least 10 % if this trend continues of more and more people accepting and welcoming GLBT people.

In the USA alone that would be more than 6 million less alcoholics/addicts.
