Prop 8 gone wild

In this video an old woman is harrassed and almost looks in danger as she tries to speak to a news reporter about her pro stance on Prop 8. I found it to be really disheartening to see that a large group of gay men, on the "No on prop 8 side", acting like nothing but an embarrassment to those of us, who are also against Prop 8.

Freedom of speech is for everyone and it was definitely denied by the mob mentality of extremist gay men towards an elderly woman. When ever this is a hot issue in the news, you will always find zealots on both sides of an issue. Whether it be anti-religious zealots, or christian zealots, pro-life zealots, anti-abortion zealots, for or against Prop 8 zealots, etc., you will always find the same type of people.

These kind of people are always the same; closed minded, full of anger issues, full of hate, nasty, ignorant and with out a doubt extremely unreasonable. The gay men you see in the video do not speak for for the GLBT community, the angry crowd you see in this video are only zealots.

I know that the vast majority of us on the Prop 8 issue are reasonable people and far from being zealots, with points of view that are heard as well as respected, whether you are for, or against, gay marriage.

What did I think when I saw some of the people in this video stamping on that elderly woman's religious cross near the end of the video...Disturbing to say the least !
